Happy Thanksgiving!
I know everyone has already put something up on there blogs about thanksgiving, so yes I’m late. But I was just trying to let the turkey settle in on my sides before I talk about this Thanksgiving as a past tense.
Also just because this is going up late doesn’t mean that we didn’t have one of the best Thanksgivings that I have had to date. (On the food front at least) And in other ways as well. I do have to say that the Lord has been really good to me this year and blessed me in ways that are to numerous to recount here. But just know that I am thankful.
I had my sisters over and as is starting to become a tradition they drove 5 and a half hours to cook for us. They really are good at it though, so I figure that there is no sense in piddling around in the kitchen when they can do it so much better. This year we wanted to try something new to go along with the regular Turkey and sides. So we found this one recipe called Italian sausage stuffed mushrooms. Connie did the shopping for the mushrooms and a good job she did. These things where the size of my hand and by the time that they were stuffed were almost a meal in themselves. Anyways all that to say we got enough to eat. Thanks for cooking sises and for the good company too.
Abi has a different look at how Thanksgiving went down, so I will let her fill you in on that later.
Oh ya HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!

My little two-cents I want to add is that John stayed home with the kids and cooked while I went to played football for half the day. It was awesome! And I’ll be posting some pics. soon.
Abi is a feisty football player. I was on the opposing team, we always had to keep an eye on her quick ways.
Justin is being sweet here!
….and honest.
Too honest!!
