It’s Sammy’s birthday today, and I can’t believe I’m a mother of an 8 year old.
We had a total boys party, John and I filled up and tied about 500 water balloons, and we had a capture the flag/water balloon fight, which turned into a huge water fight with cups, hoses, buckets etc.
Linda (of Steve) made an awesome castle cake, and after dividing the pieces we let the kids get their hands on it which almost turned into a food fight, (I think the parents would not have been so happy, seeing that the cake had a lot of green food coloring in it) so they opted for grabbing huge pieces and digging thier fingers into it instead.
I wanted to thank all those who came for making it fun for Sam and also thanks for all the presents. It was super sweet and it made his birthday.
