Abi is gone for the next 10 day and I miss her already. I hope you have a fun time baby and don’t get into to much trouble. I am playing mom  and so far it has been going good, I think that I will be able to keep this up and even have fun doing it. Abi left me with the assignment of catching up on the boys reading while she is gone and as it turn out, it’s about 200 pages for each of them. And today as Sammy was slowly reading through the story of Nathan Hale I was reminiscing on the days when us kids readers were the MO Lion readers and of course the Peter and Jane/ Pat the dog Ladybirds. Anyhow I am determined to plug away at this assignment in between loads of laundry, not only because I want my boys to be good readers but also so that I can get a pat on the back when Abi gets home.
