I’ve been reading everyone’s post on how they are getting in the Christmas spirits, singing carols, setting up trees, baking cookies etc. but for some reason it seems like ever since Thanksgiving I haven’t had any time to breathe, we have been so busy getting ready for Christmas that I haven’t had any time to enjoy the Christmas season yet. Last night we had singing and hot chocolate by the tree and I had been planning for it all day, but when 8:30 came around I was sound asleep, as I had been running around all day. I felt like I just missed my chance to get in the Christmas spirit, until tonight when John asked me to come and listen to him and Niki sing a Christmas song, of course my first response was I’m too busy, I’ve got the kids, there’s dinner etc. I ended up sitting down for a few minutes to listen to them and I finally did get the Christmas moment that everyone’s been writing about, but not only that, I realized that even with so much to do in our busy lives, it’s very important to just enjoy life, enjoy my family and enjoy those that I live with. We really do have a lot to be thankful for.
Hey, I just realized since I didn’t post anything for Thanksgiving, this could double up for a Thanksgiving post too. And now I’ll stop rambling and stick to posting pictures.

I know this isn’t your birthday nor is it our anniversary, but I wanted to add something along with these pictures.
John I think you are amazing!! You are everything I need and I couldn’t have asked for a better husband and friend, you really know how to take care of me and how to love me. Jenness was born on the 21st at 10:22 am. She is in good health and happy to be out it seems. It hasn’t been the calmest two day of her life as we have had to evacuate the hospital and then our home and are now staying at a friends house because of the fires here in San Diego. Pictures and more coming soon.
